Mark Fernandez is an important member of the OES community, from his performance in the play, putting together the Holigays, and being a big part of Spectrum.
Mark’s performance in the play was outstanding. Outside of school, he is a part of the Boy Scouts of America’s Venture Program. He really likes camping and being outdoors as often as he can.
His favorite place besides the library is is Willowbrook, the hippie arts summer camp, where he has worked for the past five summers. Mark also enjoys being a TA for the lego robotics club. He is a big part of the OES OBOB team. Great Job Mark!
Rachel Lowell has been a significant contributor on two varsity sports, and her impact has been felt across the Lewis and Clark League, in both soccer and basketball.
An agile shooting guard with a mean jumper, Rachel has boosted the Aardvarks to 5th place in the Lewis and Clark, with a record of 34. One of two freshman on varsity, Rachel has not let her age define her. She recently hit back to back threes to help keep her Aardvarks in the game VS. PAA. Despite Rachel’s efforts, the ‘Varks fell to PAA 4533, but they still had fun.
Rachel enjoys her academic life, snow, sweatpants, and frozen yogurt. Great job!
