Whether you are a die-hard Marvel fan or someone who loves Disney films, there is probably a movie coming out this month that you’ll want to watch. So, here is a short list of movies that’ll hit theaters in the next few weeks.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Release date: December 14

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is arguably the most anticipated movie coming out this month. It features Miles Morales, a thirteen-year-old teenager who is bitten by a radioactive spider in the subway. Soon after developing his spider-like powers, Miles meets a man who shares the same abilities, Peter Parker. Miles realizes that there are other spider-men and spider-women that exist within other dimensions and realities. Miles, alongside with his spider-like counterparts teams up to fight Kingpin, a madman who poses a threat to life in all dimensions. At this point, critics and fans seem to be really enjoying this new edition to the Marvel franchise. Molly Freeman from Screen Rant called it a “funny, heartwarming and fresh superhero origin story with gorgeously executed comic-style animation.” So if you are a loyal Spiderman fan or just someone looking for a good movie, I highly recommend watching Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse when it hits theaters on December 14.

Erik Davis from Fandango called it “the most ambitious DC movie to date — a big, sprawling visual spectacle that is gorgeous, crazy, stuffed with terrific action, and a lot of fun to watch.” If you are someone looking for a “crazy, “gorgeous,” and action filled movie, this is the one for you.
