My Theory on Kevin Abstract’s “ARIZONA baby” Turned Out to be Fake News

By Trevor Jones

A few weeks ago, I wrote about Kevin Abstract’s rollout for his upcoming album ARIZONA baby, but my predictions were incorrect as the artist has different plans for his new solo music.

Earlier in the month, Abstract posted 3 dates on his Instagram: 11th, 18th, 25th. At the time, I thought that he would release a single from the album on each of those dates, but instead, he’s dropping a little EP. On the 11th we got ARIZONA baby, a short and sweet 3-song project along with a video snippet of “Georgia”. He then went on one of his notorious Twitter rants to explain that fans would be getting 3-track EPs all month. Ghettobaby and a video for “Baby Boy” dropped last night. It seems that KA and the rest of his crew are starting to work their way back into the spotlight. We’ll get more solo music to finish up and he claims that, “BROCKHAMPTON IS NOT BREAKING UP THE NEW MUSIC SOUNDS GOOD AS HELL WE JUST NOT SPENDING 10 DAYS ON ALBUMS NO MORE.”
