I can’t speak directly for anyone else on this matter, but I have a wild addiction to chewing gum. Whenever I am in class, or not in a class, you will probably find me with a pack of gum.

Here’s a range of gum brands I have tried, and how I feel about them.

  1. Extra
    1. Rating: 500000000000/5
    2. This is a common brand, and I can almost guarantee you’ve indulged in at least one piece of Extra gum during your lifetime. Personally, I enjoy the more minty flavors from this brand, and on any given day, you can probably find a “Polar Ice” pack of gum in my backpack.* Even the nasty flavors taste good, like the “Icy Watermelon.” Overall, I would highly recommend this brand if you’re looking for a fresh chew.
  2. Orbit
    1. Rating: 4.5/5
    2. Orbit has its good flavors, but also it has quite a few bad ones (such as the strawberry). But as humans, we have the choice to pick what flavor we want to purchase! In that case, if you’re buying any other flavor than “Wintermint”, you’re doing something wrong.
  3. Glee Gum
    1. Rating: 0.5/5
    2. Don’t buy it. It’s some vegan brand one of my friends bought when we were at Whole Foods the other day. I asked for a piece, and almost instantly regretted it as soon as the tiny and non-artificially colored piece had entered my mouth. The flavor was gone within a matter of minutes, and the piece of the gum itself was so small I almost forgot it was there.

That’s about how far I’ve gotten with different gum brands. If you have any suggestions, leave them below and I’ll probably try them.

*this does not mean I will give you a piece of gum if you ask me
