A Thank You to the OES Community from The Empty Bowls Project

Max Fitzloff

This past week the empty bowls, food waste, and cereal Thursday groups saw great success. On Wednesday, the school took part in the humble lunch raised awareness for those with food insecurity. The day was also full of giving with the empty bowls project hosting its biggest event of the year. The project was able to raise a grand total of over one thousand dollars. This is an incredible achievement and will go incredibly far in supporting our friends at the neighborhood house. As a member of the Empty Bowls staff, I would like to personally thank the OES community for coming together to raise money for a great cause. The ceramics students have already begun throwing another round of fantastic bowls for the next event so stay tuned for more articles announcing future empty bowls event.
