Last Saturday marked the closing of the original, absurdist, and thought-provoking Winter production: Underlying Conditions: Aliens in Suburbia. As I waltzed into an understaffed and overcrowded Shari’s for the traditional late night celebration of closing, I reflected with the cast on what the show meant to them, my perception of it as an audience member, and what signature Shari’s blended pie milkshake made the best 10 pm meal.

OES is growing. We have a great new Lower School, weight room, Creative Center, and soon, a new gym facility that will enhance our sports and athletic experiences. As we continue to reshape the OES landscape, one idea full of possibility is a space geared for performing arts and production. To think about the benefits this space could provide, I interviewed four great individuals.
